December workday

Next time you’re taking a stroll in our lovely park be sure to cruise by the pool house and admire the work of the Friends of Candler Park’s December 5th workday. Thanks to Park Pride who donated the materials, and tools, we planted were able to plant 6 trees – 2 elms, 4 crape myrtles – and over 300 bulbs! This spring expect to see beautiful daffodils all around the pool house and wall. The tree’s roots are all received a warm winter coat of mulch as well.
